The Wilds is a great space to escape for some quiet in the woods, and the set up for our RV was perfect. There are plenty of trails and roads to bike or hike, and several lakes close by for fishing. We will definitely be going back.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n \n

My hubby and I are new RVers and, in my previous life my late husband and I went camping a LOT. We\u2019d drive out\/up some crazy 4X4 roads with our tent and sleeping bags etc. for an adventure! This brought back those same beloved memories but, at my current hubby and I getting a \u2018Bit\u2019 older an RV gave us the comforts of home in an absolutely awesome private site that has all the hook-ups and Julie and Kenneth were very accommodating: providing us a most awesome video to find our way in, having an immaculate site ready and even provided us a wood burning container and wood, with it being later in the season. We can\u2019t wait to go back next year and do some more 4X4ing and enjoy the local lakes on our Kayaks again! Thanks Julie!!!<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div>\n \n

I was looking through an Out There Outdoors magazine when I came across this ad for this place. I was very intrigued and wanted to check it out and although our summer months are booked we did manage to book it for July 5th weekend. Communication with Julie were all I needed and we were anxious to go with just our trailer, no dog. The spot was with full hook ups for 2 RV\u2019s. Just so happens that my trailer has two spouts so it was nice. Spot was fairly level and it was just before the heat wave came so it was cooler and so so quiet. Bugs were present but not an issue. We brought a big propane can and used the nice fire pit on the cement slab where we sat to play games and listen to our music. Our stay was very enjoyable and the hosts, Julie and Kenneth were very pleasant and we chatted for a bit about how that spot came to be. If you want solitude, silence and stars this is a good spot for that. BTW, thank you for your service.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div>\n \n
