Stuff happens. You might have a thing, we might have a thing, there could be late mud season or forest fire smoke, or maybe aliens shot earth with an EMP and your truck won’t start. We do, however, have a cancellation policy that will apply in nearly every case.*
As an industry, RV parks are seeing a rampant increase in the number of speculative reservations being made by guests. These speculative reservations will then be cancelled last minute, making it difficult to impossible for other guests to find available vacation spots. In an effort to give our guests the most accurate availability information and improve our reservation experience, we have implemented the following cancellation policy:
A one-night deposit is required for all reservations up to 7 nights. We require payment in full for 8+ day stays.
Cancellations 14 days prior to scheduled arrival:
Refund minus $35 processing fee or
Camp credit minus $10 processing fee is offered and balance of reservation goes on camp credit
13 days to 6 days prior to scheduled arrival:
Refund minus one night and $35 processing fee or
Camp credit minus $10 processing fee is offered and balance of reservation goes on camp credit
Up to 5 days prior to scheduled arrival or “No show”:
No refund is offered, or
A one-night deposit and $10 processing fee will be charged and the balance of the reservation may be placed on a camp credit
If you are a no contact no-show you won’t be allowed to book reservations and any future reservations already booked will be forfeited.
Changes to your reservation less than 14 days prior to arrival: If you choose to change or move your reservation dates less than 14 days prior to arrival the cancellation policy applies.
**CAMP CREDITS ARE VALID FOR 18 MONTHS FROM BOOKING**
If you need to cancel your reservation, please call the park office during business hours. Email cancellations are not accepted. No refunds for early checkouts. Reservations may not be sold but, may be transferred on approval with a $35 fee.
Refunds: Camping is an outdoor experience. No refunds or credits are provided due to the discomfort of nature. We will notify you of any prohibitive local conditions like snow or mud, which will obviously qualify for a full refund. No refunds or credits will be made for early departure.
*The exception to this policy – In the event of extreme wind or fire danger, if you feel unsafe in the woods, please break camp and move to a safer area. We will refund the unused portion of your fees.
